This old Forest Service sign is made of metal/steel and measures 4" x 5"". Reads "Forest Service Location Poster In Unsurveyed. Tack On Line Indicates Location Of Poster" Places to fill in date, corner, distance, bearing, etc. It is not dated. Has light wear, paint loss and stains. Please check out my other listings. This unused old Forest Service sign is made of paper stock and measures appx. 14" x 5 3/4". It measures appx. .010" thick as compared to regular blue line which is appx. .003" thick. Reads " WATER" It has a small amount of discoloration around the edges from being stored but has no tack/nail holes. Would look great framed and matted in a house or cabin. It is not dated. Cool Old Forest Service Sign! It was just starting to rain when I took the pictures outside and I didn't want to go back outside to take new pictures and risk getting the sign wet. It did NOT get wet when I took the initial pictures.
